Vapor is about me getting with a girl when wasn't ready and my frustration with her always being so clingy couldn't even go to work without her blowing up my phone and screaming in my face constantly.

Drowning In The Sky

Drowning in the sky is about working up the courage and taking the risk of trying to get with someone after falling for them, being rejected and regretting it.

Power Over Pain

Power Over Pain is the story of grief, sorrow, rejection, reconnection, and acceptance. The original idea was from when I was in my sophomore year of high-school. I tried starting a band called "POWER OVER PAIN" which was going decent at first, I had a whole album typed up in my sticky notes, I had a guitarist, a drummer, and even backup vocalists. It was good for a few months but as Puddle Of Mudd said "After that, shit got sour." The guitarist went off to a mental institution for threatening suicide and for some reason everyone wanted to be the front man. Worst part is my old principle took my computer and deleted all of my notes and lyrics saying it was a waste of time. I almost caught a felony then with the thoughts that went through my head.

How I Came Up With The Name

I've tried starting a band so many times since I've been writing music since I was a kid and it's never worked. Two or three failed attempts with Power Over Pain, Anontross, lil lemon (We don't talk about that time) but one day I was bored and doom scrolling on facebook and that's when it got me. You see it seems at times Facebook listens to conversations because right after I mentioned that I wanna sky dive it gave me a video of someone sky diving. The guy fell through a cloud though and it was like he took a shower since he came out soaked and the caption was "Just Imagine Drowning in the sky" and something just clicked. That's what I wanted a band name to be and I instantly started writing a song under the same name.

Let's Sit Down: when I gave the girl from vapor a second chance and us sitting down and trying to talk about stuff without any yelling or screaming. It's a beautiful duet showing both sides of the story instead of just one.

Letter from the grave is about me realizing and accepting that l'm doing better without either them and lI'm writing the letter from the grave of our relationship showing that any chance of trying again is dead.
